This morning we’re waking up with Natassia Miller, a Brazilian AASECT-certified sexologist and founder of Wonderlust, a sexual wellness brand helping couples deepen intimacy through education, tools, and curated experiences. Based in New York City, Natassia brings both warmth and expertise to her work, creating spaces where desire, communication, and connection can flourish. Her insights have been featured in Cosmopolitan, Glamour, GQ, and NBC, where she’s known for making conversations about sex feel approachable, inclusive, and empowering. Let’s dive in…
What’s your earliest memory of pleasure—sexual or otherwise?
I remember taking a bath and realizing how good it felt when I held the shower head over my vulva. My baths started taking a little longer after that!
Right now, what’s turning you on—culturally, creatively, or sexually?
Shere Hite — the OG sexologist whose book on women's pleasure The Hite Report is one of the global best-sellers of all time. She has been largely forgotten and her documentary "The Disappearance of Shere Hite" really lit a fire in me.
Do you have a ritual, tool, or practice that helps you connect to your own pleasure?
Everyday I listen to music that makes me feel alive, makeout with my husband, and self-pleasure multiple times a week.
What do you wish people talked about more openly when it comes to sex & pleasure?
How much technology has made it harder to connect with ourselves and our partners. We're online and exhausted all the time — and experiencing less intimacy because of it.
If we peeked at your “pleasure playlist,” what’s on it?
Elder Island's Omnitone Collection album. I've had some of the best sex listening to it.
What’s one myth or misconception about pleasure you’d love to debunk?
Women like sex less than men. We experience desire and arousal differently, and learning what works for us is life-changing.
What’s one lesson you’ve learned on your pleasure journey that you’d want others to know?
If you communicate well in the bedroom, you can communicate well in the boardroom. Talking about sex is the most vulnerable conversation you'll have, and if you can master that, you can master anything.
